Do you have a long-term strategic plan? Simple enough question, before 2020 that is. I think the new question should be, Is a long-term strategic plan still relevant? Yes and no. In my belief and experience in consulting with all of my clients as well as supporting the accounting industry through COVID, this is a two-fold answer.
Yes, as long-term goals are still quite relevant. It is very important to have a vision of where you want to be in the future. 2020, however, has taught us that sometimes those plans need to be delayed or changed when the unexpected happens.
The most important thing is that you recognize when to pivot and of course, it helps if you have a business advisor in your corner. This is why, in 2020, we at Cloud Business Services, have decided to pivot ourselves and focus on a specific subset of services. Our goal has always been to make an impact and help our clients. COVID has brought to the forefront what I am passionate at, and given me a new vision for our future. We will still be supporting certain bookkeeping services, with a new focus on expanded advisory and consulting services. This means that in order to do so we will be trimming back on other services. If you have not been contacted by us, your services will NOT be impacted.
Are you prepared to pivot your services or processes quickly? If you need assistance with this, or want a free consultation, please reach out to us.
Until next time,
